Initial Setup Guide for Your New Mouse

Getting started with your new ergonomic mouse is quick and easy. Follow these steps to set up your mouse:

  1. Unbox Your Mouse:

    • Carefully remove your ergonomic mouse from its packaging. Ensure you have all included components such as the mouse, USB receiver (if applicable), and batteries (if required).
  2. Insert Batteries:

    • If your mouse is battery-operated, insert the provided batteries or ensure it is fully charged if it has a built-in rechargeable battery.
  3. Connect the USB Receiver:

    • If your mouse uses a USB receiver, plug it into an available USB port on your computer. The receiver is typically pre-paired with your mouse for easy setup.
  4. Pair via Bluetooth:

    • For Bluetooth mice, enable Bluetooth on your computer. Follow the instructions in your mouse's manual to enter pairing mode, then select the mouse from your computer's list of available Bluetooth devices.
  5. Install Drivers and Software:

    • Some ergonomic mice come with optional drivers or software for additional customization. Visit the Ergomouse website and download the latest drivers and software for your model. Follow the installation instructions provided.
  6. Adjust Settings:

    • Customize your mouse settings such as DPI (sensitivity), button functions, and scroll speed using the mouse settings on your computer or the installed software.
  7. Test Your Mouse:

    • Move your mouse and click the buttons to ensure it’s working properly. Make any necessary adjustments in the settings for optimal performance.
